considered by the society- i believe that this can be developed further as
the people who are younger in Singapore are not accepting the elderly into the modern world as they do not want to be
disturbed by those who are not in style and out of the ordinary.We need them to think that they are living in place where
their style of fashion is that and we should ignore them and make sure they have some comfortability in the public rather
than to be neglected by them and thus making them sad.We can make the younger generation of Singapore,tempted by
money,go help and be nice to the elderly.Once they have been able to like and accept the elderly into the community,
we can finally have some peace
Rank 2-The elderly are less agile then younger people in Singapore-The city has very little resting areas and even if they are
available,they are usually taken up by other people not in the need of the seat.I believe that some seats should be
reserved for the elderly and there should be a fine for those not to abide by it.People will not dare to sit there any
as they are afraid of the fine.
Rank 3-The elderly are very lonely-They are lonely as they are not visited regularly and they also need attention as they are
people too and require attention from others to feel that they are wanted and not a nuisance to the younger
generation of Singapore.I believe that this is not a big issue and since most families are visiting them once a week
for a family gathering but there is an exception that those who go to the elderly homes but there are children during old
folk visits so they are not of concern
